About
I work as a mental health life coach, helping people navigate relationships, depression and anxiety, religious deconstruction/trauma, and helping those in the LGBTQ community. I work virtually. I am not a counselor, and as such do not diagnose or treat or prescribe. What I do is offer emotional support and education in a safe environment that allows people to question and grow.
Most of my practice is virtual, but I can meet local clients in a private room at the local coffee shop if scheduled ahead of time.
My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice
I grew up as a Christian, but the circumstances of my life have challenged my faith, leading me to question what I believe and ultimately come to have a much firmer foundation for what I believe. Trusting God through the darkest times in my life has brought me out with a stronger faith and a heart for those who are in similar circumstances, and my heart for people has led me to seek training that will equip me to be truly helpful for those who are hurting.
I receive supervision and continuing education from Salem Integrative Counseling Institute, and am in school to eventually become a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
