About

Feeling overwhelmed and trying to find balance? Life can be challenging especially while trying to live righteously and meet different demands around you. I enjoy helping adults affirm their identity and personality, recognize their limitations, process difficult emotions, and depend on God.

I’m a licensed psychologist and a Christian counselor. I openly discuss issues of faith and spirituality using Biblical precepts. I focus on guiding you to where God may be leading you while identifying what is helpful and not helpful.

My areas of interest include life transitions, mood disorders, navigating pressure and boundaries, deepening understanding in relationships, multicultural concerns, and grief/loss. I have experience with Christians in different life stages including college students, adults in ministry, working adults including those in graduate school, and elderly individuals navigating aging-related issues. I also provide pre-marital counseling and counseling to couples in their early years of marriage.

Additionally, my work has been informed by my background in public health, working in geriatric facilities, and my experiences with people while living in places including African countries (Cameroon, Senegal, Ghana), El-Salvador, France, and multiple U.S. states.

I offer virtual psychotherapy for residents of Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

My call to become a Christian psychologist was through a long journey of studying the Bible with people while also digging deeper within myself to recognize the brokenness of humanity and God's redeeming power of transformation. Knowing the Bible and studying psychology have been instrumental in understanding how God heals us.
