My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice

It is our goal to be a beacon of hope to all who we come in contact with. We hold very close to our hearts the model that Jesus demonstrated of servant leadership, meeting people where they are at, and providing compassionate care and support as individuals work out their life experiences. It was our goal in creating Aspen to bring exceptional care to individuals and families while demonstrating the love and care that Jesus has shown for all of humanity.

I believe working as a counselor is my calling, not just my profession. I feel strongly that everyone deserves a safe space where they may speak about their thoughts, examine their feelings, unburden their past, and gain assistance in navigating the perspectives and coping tendencies that will determine their future. I have dedicated an extensive education and my life’s work to providing that safe space. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, minor in Christian Counseling, and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, VA. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA), a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCASA), and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I enjoy working with a diverse range of client needs for persons ages 6 and up within individual sessions, family sessions, couple’s therapy, and group therapy settings. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trau

It has always been my goal in life to have a profession where I got to help people daily. I graduated from Liberty University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2023. I enjoy working with people of all ages, but I find the most fulfillment in helping adolescents, teenagers and young adults navigate their challenges. It’s very rewarding to support them through this pivotal stage of their lives.

My approach is client-centered, which means I focus on creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem/self-image issues, trauma, and ADHD. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. My goal is to empower individuals to achieve personal growth, develop effective coping strategies, and enhance their overall quality of life.
