Practicing over 20 years with hurting adults (women, men and couples), there isn't too much I haven't heard. Coming in for counseling can feel shameful for some, and for others the shame comes in the telling of the stories. If either of these captures how you are or anticipate feeling, please know you're not alone in whatever brings you to this time. Counseling is a safe place to focus on yourself, your needs, hurts, unmet desires, and dreams. Together we'll help you take healthy steps forward.

It can be through one word that changes a person’s life, one act of kindness, or one simple hug; it could be saving someone’s life or just simply being the best version of you that you can be.I believe it is vital to share a little bit about myself and how I can be impactful in your process of healing and growth during this time period in your life. Using evidence-based approaches to your care provides the best opportunity for you to feel and function better as quickly as possible. In alignment with your values and goals, we will practice evaluating unhelpful thought patterns and explore ways to identify and engage in positive activities that improve mood. For those seeking couples counseling, this may involve exploring the patterns we get stuck in and finding ways to interact positively. I work with most issues, and some of my focus areas include depression, anxiety, career counseling, and men’s issues. Importantly, you will have a safe, non-judgmental space to grow and heal. Adults 18 and older are welcome. In addition, I offer both in-office and telehealth sessions where appropriate, which can be a convenient choice.
