I have an M.A. in Psychology and over 40-years of clinical experience. I've been a Fla Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 1986 and in private practice in Orange City since 1998. I also see telehealth clients via zoom but I prefer in office.
I'm a published author with a book on coping with depression: "The Unwelcome Blessing" and two books on spiritual warfare.
I accept many insurances and EAPs, and for cash payers I use a modest sliding scale.
With so many years of experience in varied settings I tend to be a generalist in my approach to therapy. I use cognitive/behavioral techniques with traditional psychodynamic and Transactional Analysis based formulations. I also teach Autogenic relaxation techniques. I specialize in the treatment of depression, stress, anger mgt and anxiety disorders such as panic and OCD. I also work with couples, children and adolescents.
I attend a small home-based church and Lake Mary Church on Rinehart Rd. I attended Northland Community Church in Longwood for many years and used to reach classes there and was active in various ministries.
