By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master's of Science degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College in Maryland. As a Pastoral Counselor, I am sensitive to spiritual issues and use the knowledge and insights of behavioral sciences.
It is my belief that there are times in one's life where unique opportunities present themselves enabling us to achieve complete wholeness. I want to help you in this journey of positive change. Using an integrative and holistic approach to counseling, my philosophy is that, through a mutual sense of understanding and productive interaction, guidance will be provided as each person journeys on their life path and direction.
Also, I am brazilian-born speaker of Portuguese, I believe I would be uniquely qualified for working with individuals and families with a Brazilian and Latino background. A combination of my ability to speak Portuguese, cultural sensitivity, a possession of a natural empathy, and the knowledge and skills gained during my education have given me attributes that would be of benefit to this population.
