I feel God connects me to people I am meant to help. In my work with clients my primary goal is to create a safe place for people to explore whatever is challenging them without fear of being judged and in complete confidentiality. By providing a safe place I can gently guide my clients through their pain and challenges to a place where they feel understood and validated. From that place we can begin to explore goals and work toward accomplishing them. I help people use their relationship with God to guide them to where they want to be and to where He intends for them to be. We enter this spiritual journey together. I also use my knowledge of neuroscience to teach my clients how to calm, soothe and relax their minds to treat anxiety and anger. I use spirituality to help people out of the darkness of depression. I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, hypnotherapy, mindfulness, internal family systems therapy and Imago couples therapy. Specialities include relationship issues, anxiety, depression, parenting issues, work place issues, infertility and grief and loss.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
This is a second career for me and it is my calling. I have very strong faith that has been the cornerstone of my life. I believe that when we focus on God's will for each of us we find freedom, peace and ultimate happiness which allows us to become all that we are meant to be. It is an honor for me to be on a spiritual journey with my clients.
