Encouraging Phone, Video, and Office Counseling
We offer video therapy services for individuals throughout South Carolina.
Coastal Samaritan Counseling Center is accredited by the Solihten Institute, an interfaith counseling network inclusive of more than 40 centers. Solihten [Soh-LITE-en] means wholeness and light. The institute accredits, connects, educates, and advances counseling centers that practice one of the most effective paths to healing: spiritually integrated therapy.
Our counselors are professionally trained, experienced, and licensed as professional counselors; clinical social workers; addiction counselors; and/or marriage and family therapists. We are competent and specialized in areas such as depression, anxiety, stress, addiction, grief/loss, trauma, crisis/adjustment, anger, self-esteem, marital conflict, parenting, autism, and many others.
Our counselors recommend therapeutic approaches to fit clients’ needs, goals, and preferences. Examples include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy; Narrative Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychodynamic Therapy, and the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. We are fully HIPAA compliant.
