Melinda Goudeau

MA, LPC
Melinda received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She has been a counselor since 2001, and in private practice for seven years. She previously worked as a therapist at Meier Clinics of Richardson and an Adjunct Professor at Dallas Baptist University. Melinda’s approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral therapy, focusing on how thoughts drive feelings and behavior. Melinda’s style is direct, respectful, and considerate of the unique needs of each client. A personal approach is taken using effective, research-based methods for helping clients achieve their goals. Her most recent specialized training includes certifications in anxiety, depression, trauma, and virtual counseling.
Aimee Bentley

Aimee Bentley

Aimee received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston and a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Aimee’s focus includes counseling services for adolescents, individuals, and couples, as well as family therapy. Depending on the needs and goals of the client, she utilizes a variety of solution-focused interventions. As a Christian counselor, she desires to come alongside her clients as they find healing, restoration, and meaning. She looks forward to working with you and your family to achieve your counseling goals.
Steve Long

Steve Long

MS, LPC
Steve is a licensed professional counselor certified by the State Board of Texas. He has worked in the public school system for the past 31 years, with a focus on counseling in the most recent 11-year period. Steve spent twenty years as a science teacher at the secondary level and coached various high school sports for 11 of those years. In addition to his duties as a school counselor, Steve has been in private practice since 2011 having counseled and completed his internship in a Christian counseling center in Houston. Steve holds a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Houston Clear Lake, specializing in therapy for adolescents, men, and married couples. He has an extensive background in working with married couples, groups, and those with addictions. He counsels from a Biblical foundation, primarily using cognitive-behavioral techniques and spiritual direction.
Joanna Eckley

Joanna Eckley

Joanna received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Houston Baptist University (HBU). As a graduate student at HBU, Joanna was trained in integrative faith practices that provided her with a skill set to integrate secular counseling modalities with the Christian faith when the client expresses a desire to integrate his or her Christian faith in the therapeutic environment. Through her internship, I was trained in Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) as she worked with foster/adoptive families, and individuals with a trauma history. She now specializes in trauma-informed counseling to individuals of all ages. Areas of focus include play therapy, couples therapy, adolescent therapy, anxiety, and depression.

Kali is the founder and Executive Director of Counseling Futures and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. Kali received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University in Health with a focus in Health Education and Community Health. She also received a dual Master of Arts degree from Amberton University in both school counseling and professional counseling. Kali is a certified teacher and a certified school counselor.

Kali has extensive experience working with school-related situations, substance abuse, and family conflict. As a former school teacher, school counselor, and previous drug & alcohol prevention counselor in schools, Kali has developed a heart for adolescents and young adults who may need to be introduced to a new set of skills, techniques, and ways of thinking that will help alleviate stagnation or decline and encourage positive change.
