About

“We deeply long for connection, to be seen and known for who we are without rejection. But we are terrified of the vulnerability that is required for that very contact.” – Curt Thompson, The Soul of Shame.

Do you wonder if your presence really matters? Is it easy for you to extend grace and compassion to those around you, but difficult to do the same for yourself? Maybe you long to be truly known and loved as your authentic self, but vulnerability scares you or you don’t even know how to begin. And maybe you aren’t even sure who you really are. Therapy creates a space where you can ask questions, get curious, and more deeply learn about yourself, giving you the power to make choices that set the course for a more fulfilling life.

Our time together would focus on you as a whole person – mind, body, spirit. We will create a relational foundational, a safe base, from which to explore your life story together. I believe within each person resides the potential for hope, resilience, rejuvenation, and growth. Your choice to reach out for professional support reflects your inner strength and dedication to your own well-being.

My approach is experiential, with a focus on emotion, through the lens of attachment theory, and will incorporate techniques from a range of therapeutic models. I’m well-versed in the Enneagram, finding it a valuable tool for self-discovery and understanding others. Additionally, I’ve personally grappled with questions of faith and have found solace in Christianity after much introspection and discovery. I believe that exploring your own beliefs is a deeply personal expedition, and I’m here to support you in that exploration, should you desire.

It is so important to feel comfortable with the therapist that you choose. You are welcome to set up a 15-minute consultation with me, so we can decide if working together would be a good fit!
