About
Hey, I am Daniel Merboth, and I am currently pursuing a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) degree at UW-Stout. I have a background in psychology and Christian studies from my undergraduate education, I have experience as a mental health specialist at Dungarvin, and I am doing ongoing work in therapy, learning, growing and enjoying my job.
I am enthusiastic about integrating my education and previous experience into my practice. I firmly believe in the inherent worth of each individual and strive to provide people non-judgmental, heart-felt, support. I approach therapy with a personalized and holistic perspective, recognizing the uniqueness of each person and taking a systems-oriented, and research-based approach.
While I anticipates working with teens through seniors in my career, my specific areas of interest include couples and family therapy. I am passionate about seeing couples experience unity in relationship as it is designed to be. Outside of professional life, I resides west of the Twin Cities with my wife, son, and cat. In my free time, I enjoy tabletop role-playing games with friends, hiking, watching fantasy shows, and taking in rainy days with a good book and a cup of coffee.
