About

I prioritize the counseling relationship first, allowing the work to flow from there. I incorporate an integrative approach to the therapeutic work by pulling from several treatment modalities based on the unique need of the client. These include Image Transformation Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Theory, Attachment Theory, Systems Theory, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I prioritize understanding a client’s goals and helping them to move towards them.

I believe people can change. I specialize in offering individual counseling for clients struggling with their sense of identity, problem behaviors, and finding their place in the world. We will start by exploring your personal history, identifying areas that need attention, and collaborating to work on them. I offer treatment designed with you in mind and tailored to your particular situation. Using innovative techniques, I target what is holding you back from healing and becoming your authentic self.

My practice is built on the foundation of integrating faith with healing. I recognize the profound connection between mental well-being and personal beliefs. My approach goes beyond traditional therapy; I actively incorporate and respect your faith journey. My goal is not just to listen but to collaboratively navigate the path to wellness, ensuring every step is in alignment with your beliefs.

I completed my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Fairfield University. Before working in private practice, I interned as a counselor at Sacred Heart University's counseling center and the Midwestern Connecticut Council of Alcoholism in Danbury.
