About
I am a board certified licensed counselor, and an independent mental health practitioner in Henderson, Nebraska. I am also an adjunct professor at a Christian university teaching counseling skills to masters level counseling students. I have been a therapist for over 25 years earning both a master degree in counseling and a doctorate in counselor education and supervision. I have worked with a wide variety of clients in many different settings ranging from community mental health to inpatient hospital units to residential treatment programming for children and adolescents.
I work enjoy creating a safe space for pastors, pastors' wives and children, elders, deacons and their families, choir directors, and youth pastors and Sunday School teachers, where they can address their concerns outside of their local church environment. These issues may include marital problems, divorce, abuse, addictions to substances, pornography, anger problems, depression and suicidal thoughts, and maladaptive sexual behaviors in children and adolescents. I also enjoy encouraging young wives and mothers in their walk with the Lord.
