We know from our Christian faith that we are loved by God in ways that surpass our understanding. When life becomes difficult that foundation can feel distant, leaving us feeling as if we're all alone. Depression, anxiety, addiction, family conflict, and other emotional realities can impact our lives on a variety of levels.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have also been an ordained Episcopal Priest for over 16 years. During that time, I've worked with families and individuals who were experiencing many different types of struggles. I believe that Christian counseling offers the opportunity to connect our faith in Jesus with the possibility of healing for our emotional lives. Christian counseling offers an opportunity to utilize the resources of a professional counseling relationship, while understanding the values that underlie Christian faith.
I'm an co-owner of Sage Counseling in Newtown Square, PA (Delaware County). I hold a Master's in Social Services (equivalent to an MSW) from Bryn Mawr College and a Masters of Divinity from Episcopal Divinity School.
