Nichole earned her Masters Degree in Counseling from Eastern Michigan University. She has worked in the school system for over 20 years with adolescents facing behavioral and emotional challenges. She specializes in working with pre-teens to adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, anger management and relationship issues. Nichole believes in a deep connection that binds the person with their spiritual beliefs, building confidence and inner peace. Nichole uses evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral, EFIT, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, and Humanistic.

As a Counselor/Therapist, Laurie has worked with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, grief, anger management, and relationship issues. She received a Masters Degree in Counseling/Psychology from Moody Theological Seminary and opened Hopeful Hearts Counseling Services in 2019 to serve the Downriver community. Laurie specializes in marriage counseling, relationship-building and emotional awareness. Discovering behavioral patterns and negative barriers, whether existential or emotional, is paramount to finding restoration and peace. Laurie believes that building healthy and productive relationships is crucial to the emotional well-being of the individual. She uses evidence-based therapies combined with Biblical concepts to help people find clarity, healing and hope.
