About
Luiza Pollock is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has 10 years of experience. She received her degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling and started off working with children and their families. Since then her counseling experience evolved to working with individuals and couples using evidence-based practices.
Luiza believes humans are wired for relationships. In the context of relationships, there is hurt and pain, as well as healing and a deep joy. An attachment-focused therapeutic worldview looks at how past and current relationships affect mental health, emotional struggles, and physical well-being. Luiza is strengths-based and client focused, meaning she honors people as being the experts in their own lives, and her coming along side them to facilitate change.
She enjoys working with those who are feeling “stuck” in various parts of their life, including relationships/dating, career decisions, personal growth, parenting, and general life transitions. She is an expert in Eastern European acculturation concerns, disconnected couples, boundary development, as well as Christian-identified others with spiritual concerns.
