About
My practice is called Pathfinder Counseling because I believe that God has a path in mind for each of us, but that path can be difficult to find because everyday life gets in the way. My method of therapy fits well with my faith. I practice cognitive behavioral therapy and believe that our actions result from our emotions and those begin with our thinking. If we want to change our life, we need to change how we are thinking. If you are having difficulties in your life with relationships, feeling depressed or anxious, I would be honored to walk a way with you as we explore other paths.
Blessings,
Jack
Why I Became a Pastoral Therapist
Like many people, I had a time in my life when I had two significant losses. I got throught those tough times by the love of God reflected to me by a loving congregation and a gifted counselor. I decided that I wanted to know how I could merge those two interventions to aid others with their pain and sorrow.
