Are you feeling overwhelmed with the responsibilities of life? Struggling with a transition and feeling panicked, overwhelmed, or frozen? Do you have difficulty knowing what you want or asserting what you would like when you do know?
The beginning of change is awareness that something is no longer working--and it sounds like you've already reached this step. I'd love to partner with you as you discover how to approach yourself, relationships, and life differently. I believe people grow and develop when they are known and loved. It is a privilege to create a safe haven where the wounds of life can be addressed honestly, lovingly, and non-judgmentally. I am passionate about working with men and women struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, co-dependency, feeling “stuck,” life transitions, the effects of trauma--both recent and complex, and spiritual questions. Often these issues manifest as self-doubt, perfectionism, rigidity, feeling out of control, urges to hide or escape, and self-criticism, to name only a few symptoms. Through a relational, somatically-informed, and practical approach, my desire is to help clients find greater healing, hope and peace. I would love to speak with you more about whether I might be a good fit.
About Me
I received my B.A. in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute. Moving from the Colorado mountains to attend graduate school in Florida, I obtained my Masters in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. In 2022 I was trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitazation and Reprocessing). I enjoy coffee, the beach, and a good book.
