About
I am a Licensed Psychologist. I attained my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Regent University in Virginia in May 2005, my Masters of Art in Professional Psychology from Geneva College in Pennsylvania in May 1998, and my Bachelors of Art in Psychology from Houghton College in 1993. All the colleges and universities I attended were Christian. I first began working in the mental health field at the bottom of the ladder in 1989, and have slowly worked my way up gaining experience, education, and expertise. With God's leading and help, I formed Lunden Psychological Services, Inc. in December 2014 to serve the whole person from a solution-focused approach to emotional health and wellbeing. I believe in clinical integration, whereby individuals are created with a biological, psychological, and spiritual nature. I have an interpersonally focused style, utilize psychodynamic conceptualization, as well as cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral techniques to assist people in making their desired changes. I offer effective individual and couple counseling with comprehensive psychological evaluation from a Christian worldview. I provide a compassionate collaborative relationship and practical skills designed to promote life change and growth potentially transforming marital problems, family conflict, divorce, depression, panic attacks, memory loss, social anxiety, addictions, etc. into opportunities to experience new life with hope, purpose, meaning, and a freedom to thrive.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I became a psychologist to help individuals, couples, and families learn to overcome emotional, cognitive, and behavioral patterns that keep them from fully living life in relationship with others. My warmth, compassion, and comfortable quiet office space provide an inviting setting to achieve restoration and hope.
