About
I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor supervisor providing counseling for a variety of mental health issues including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment disorder (life change such as relocation, divorce, addition or loss of family member), and children's issues.
My education includes a master's degree from UNC-Greensboro, +30 graduate hours from Western Kentucky University, and numerous counseling certification trainings. My preferred counseling theory is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); however, I adapt methodology to meet the needs of my clients.
Though my Christian faith is very important to me, I am considerate of the religious persuasions of my clients and do not bring my beliefs into the counseling room unless invited to do so. If a client would like to integrate Christianity into counseling, I am happy to do so.
