About

Welcome! I’m Kelly Causey, and I’m honored to be part of your journey toward healing and personal growth. I hold a Master’s degree from Colorado Theological Seminary, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Counseling with a minor in Christian Education from Cornerstone University. As an Ordained Minister with the National Association of Christian Ministers, I bring a deep spiritual perspective to my counseling practice.

I specialize in a variety of areas, including marriage and family dynamics, conflict resolution, grief recovery, anger management, effective communication, and self-care. I also provide compassionate support for individuals facing depression, anxiety, and trauma recovery. With an Advanced Certification in Marriage and Family Counseling and certification as a Temperament Counselor through the National Christian Counselors Association, I combine my extensive training with practical experience to offer meaningful support.

As an independent ministry partner of Feed My Sheep Ministries, LLC, I’m passionate about serving my community proffessionally since 2018 and providing guidance to church members, family, and peers. I believe in the transformative power of faith-based counseling, which offers a foundation that aligns with God’s Word and fosters holistic healing.

Through the Amo Profile System, I encourage individuals to discover their God-given strengths, which can lead to improved self-esteem, reduced stress, and greater self-awareness. My ultimate goal is to help you live a more purposeful and fulfilling life.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your journey, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Together, we can find hope and healing rooted in faith.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

Though I knew of God my entire life, it wasn’t until my early thirties that I truly encountered Him as a personal comforter. My life had been marked by a pursuit of worldly success and a deep sense of unfulfilled purpose. As a divorced woman with three children, including one born outside of marriage, I struggled with shame and a sense of failure, and my efforts to hide my sins, and look good proved ineffective.

I tried to create an ideal family image through marriage, entering into courtships while disregarding principles of healthy relationships and scriptural standards. Raised in Catholic schools, I was well-acquainted with guilt and believed my worth was tied to my performance, leading me to compromise my values in search of love and approval.

Feeling desperate and defeated, I cried out to God in surrender. For the first time, on a tearful night, I experienced profound peace and the healing presence of the Holy Spirit. I realize that Jesus is the only one who can cover my sins through His work on the cross. I came to understand that God is not merely a set of rules but the embodiment of love and truth. This revelation lifted the veil from my eyes, ignighting a new understanding and fervor in my heart. The healing power of Christ is the foundation of my journey and my calling as a Christian counselor, enabling me to share the Gospel and support others on their paths to healing and faith.
