Dr. Cary Corley
DCoun
I have a passion for helping individuals and families find healing through counseling. My own journey was difficult as a young man, and so I consider it an honor and a joy to help others recover from their painful pasts. God has blessed me tremendously through my own suffering and my faith is a key component of who I am as a counselor.

Fostering “next steps” in all areas of life defines my approach to counseling. My experience with childhood loss, a pervasive family history of depression and anxiety, and a recent diagnosis of ADHD have created opportunities to learn and grow personally and professionally. A Christian foundation grounds my decisions personally and professionally. I believe God works powerfully through relationships and promises to guide us by taking “hold of (our) right hand,” stating firmly, “I will help you” (Isaiah 41:13 NIV).

I have a passion for working with clients to find solutions to problems, process change and emotions, grieve, and see their goals come to fruition. It is an honor to walk alongside clients as they discover a deeper and truer understanding of themselves and experience richer relationships with the ones they love. I like to bring my compassion for others, peaceful spirit, and joy into the therapeutic space. I enjoy being present with clients and treasure their unique stories and resiliency. While I like to use a variety of therapeutic approaches, I primarily work from a family systems, relational and attachment based, Gottman, EFT, and psychodynamic approach. I earned my masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Wheaton College and B.A. in Theatre and Communications from Gordon College.

"And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." Philippians 1:6
This is my life verse and has guided and directed me since I came to faith as a teenager. We are all a work in progress, encountering good times and difficulties that shape us into who we are becoming in Christ. God never wastes a hurt. Sometimes we need people to give us hope and to walk alongside through the challenges life has in store for us. I am here to do just that.
