Legacy Counseling Services offers affordable sessions of professional counseling. While we serve anyone regardless of faith perspectives, we specialize in Christian-based counseling, dedicated to inner healing and inter-relational skills. Our approach combines the guidance of the Holy Spirit with empirically sound interventions supported by Biblical principles. Our clients include individuals of all ages, couples, families, and groups.
Tammy Melton, LPC
After years of Pastoral Counseling, Tammy Melton received her Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2014 and is now a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of GA. Tammy has a heart to help people who have experienced trauma to be healed from the inside out. As a minister and a pastor's daughter, she also has a desire to provide a safe, confidential place for ministers and their families to go for counseling.
Besides offering sessions for individuals, Tammy also has experience with pre-marital and marital counseling as well as family sessions. While she mostly counsels from a Cognitive Behavioral approach, she also uses interventions from other therapies depending on individual client needs. Specialties include: Inner Healing, PTSD, anger management, conflict resolution, grief, and play therapy.
