My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice
I became a Christian in 1969 from reading a Billy Graham book. I was raised Catholic and moved to worshipping as a protestant in 1969. In 1991 I received the call from God, while in prayer and my own therapy, to become a licensed counselor. I went back to school received my undergraduate degree, a BA, from Southeastern University and then went on to receive my MS from Loyola University in 1999. I am a sole proprietor and have worked in the past for Catholic Charities, a psychiatrist, and now currently continue my private practice along with working with New Life ministries.
My faith in Christ is always at the forefront of my counseling/coaching and I work with the client to not only develop a deeper walk in faith with Christ but also work to help the client achieve the best life that God has called them to by having tools to overcome the trials of life.
