About
Dr. Moreland (Sarah) understands that not everyone needs the higher level of clinical care that psychotherapy/counseling typically offer. Life Coaching offers individuals the opportunity to receive partnership, support, and guidance in a non-clinical framework.
The typical LH client might be feeling stuck in their relationships with others, in their professional lives, and/or in their relationship with Jesus. Clients who receive LH services are not typically struggling with mental illness issues but are seeking assistance in achieving personal goals.
The Mission of LionHeart is to help individuals discover who they are in Jesus Christ and develop identity through real intimacy wit Him. LH also offers the "God curious" who might be in a place where they are interested in digging a little deeper into what Christianity is.
Identity issues in today’s current socio-political climate are front and center. Many individuals find themselves floating along throughout life with no clear understanding of who they are and what their individual purpose is. LH helps clients explore this through the framework of Biblical principles allowing Jesus to disciple their hearts while also working to make sense of being a Christian in today's chaotic culture.
LionHeart Life Coaching adheres to the belief that the Bible is the perfect word of God given to us through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is also our belief that the Bible was written “for” Christians not “to” Christians. So it is therefore our responsibility to read holy scripture in the way the original biblical authors intended. It is true that God’s power is perfected in our weakness, and because of this, we can know with confidence that there is no struggle we experience that God won’t make for the good. Because of this truth, our weaknesses are truly our strengths (aka our super powers!).

My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice
When I became a widow at the age of 35, I had a six month old baby to care for and felt completely overwhelmed and alone. I don't ever want anyone to feel (or believe the lie) that they are alone and that life is hopeless. I want to partner with people in need of support. LionHeart Life Coaching (Sarah) genuinely seeks to do this but through a clear framework of biblical principles and seeking Jesus as the comforter.
