About
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT). My specialties include working with those who have had sexual trauma, those who engage sexuality compulsively, and those who struggle with eating disorders. The remainder of my practice includes a wide variety of issues, from depression and anxiety to various kinds of significant trauma. However, the common theme that runs through most of my work is relational issues with family, friends, spouses, coworkers, and more.
That's why my relationship with each client is so important, and why I offer concrete tracking of 1) your progress toward your goals and 2) your relationship with me.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I became a therapist because it fit my gifts much better than my old career as a software developer did. When I came home from writing software, I felt relieved. In my practice, I feel privileged and honored.
I'm specifically a Christian therapist because my faith is important to me. Weaving my faith with my training allows me to practice with integrity.
