Lasting Affection is a safe place to heal. Currently, I am only providing Telehealth therapy services. I enjoy my work as a Marriage and Family Therapist immensely. After many years of working in the non-profit sector, I started my own practice in 2005. Over the years of providing counseling, I find that individuals, couples, or families experience relational problems due to unresolved emotional or physical trauma. Those traumas then create some patterns of behaving that worked for them then but now it's preventing them from being able to maintain safe and secure functioning relationships.
They frequently find themselves in relational conflicts and unable to resolve them. My work has been helping individuals identify the old strategies that are not working and replace them with new relational strategies that create safe, secure, and lasting relationships.
I have provided 24 years of counseling services for individuals, families, couples, holding workshops, and facilitating groups. I have worked in the non-profit sector in the role of a Clinical Therapist, Mental Health Project Director, and Clinical Supervisor for interns at CHAA Community Health for Asian Americans, formerly known as Asian Pacific Psychological Services.

I am currently only providing Telehealth therapy only, so hopefully, that will be more convenient for you. I provide services based on a sliding fee scale, based on client needs and resources. I also accept a handful of insurances.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I decided to to serve as Christian therapist because my faith is important to me. I also found through many years of counseling experience, that those who seek God as a resource find healing much faster. I am trained to provide the integration of the Christian faith for those who express a desire to include their faith in therapy. It never ceases to amaze me when I witness God working to bring healing to my clients within the walls of my office and in their personal lives. However, if you chose not to include your faith/religion, I can still help you and I will not impose my faith.
