I hold a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and am fully licensed in the state of Tennessee. I work with individuals, couples, families and businesses.
Having been married for 39 years to my wonderful wife, Gayle, I use my training and personal experience to assist clients with problems that keep them from reaching the full potential that God means for them to utilize and enjoy.
My clients come from many cultures, religious backgrounds and schools of thought. We strive to treat each with respect and prayerful understanding. My practice, New Hope Counseling Services, Inc., is not affiliated with any specific denomination or religious group but assist clients coming from many theological viewpoints.
Some of the issues we work with are communication, conflict resolution and marital enrichment. I have extensive training in the area of sexuality including sexual addiction, sexual dysfunction, or sexual dissatisfaction. I also provide therapy for clients dealing with grief, life changes and spiritual growth.
I am a certified Prepare/Enrich counselor for couples desiring pre-engagement or pre-marital counseling.
For clients wishing to use insurance as their payment method, We accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna and Humana. We also except all major credit cards.
