I am a Licensed Clinical Christian Therapist. I have a certification from The South Florida Theological Seminary. I have a Master's degree in Social Work from Florida International University and I am a Certified Traumatic Incident Reduction Facilitator. I provided group therapy for two years to emotionally and mentally ill patients in two different PHPs ( Partial Hospitalization Program). I worked with the Miami Dade Juvenile Services Department providing a complete range of services for both at-risk youth and youth involved with the Juvenile Justice System.
In the past, I also worked with The Child Welfare in the Foster Care and the Adoption program as well. In addition, I also served the elderly population and disabled clients from the Florida Department of Children and Families..
I am a deacon and an elder from the First Spanish Presbyterian Church of Miami. However, I am not currently active.
We provide: couples counseling, parenting guidance and family conflicts. In addition, we provide therapy for: depression, anxiety, anger management, domestic violence, physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. Trauma, grievance, low self-esteem, adolescent issues as well as phobias. All are provided from a Christian perspective.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I became a Christian Counselor to provide services to my clients based on the Bible since I am a Christian and believe in the power of the Word of God.
