I'm a licensed Marriage and Family therapist specializing in Adult, Child, Family and Christian Counseling. I have been counseling adults, children and adolescents for over 15 years in different settings-- school, agency and private practice. I use my strong knowledge of Scripture to help adult and adolescent clients strengthen their relationship with Christ and fine tune their discernment of how God is leading them in work, family and relationships. I place a strong emphasis on the hope we have in Christ and relying on His strength, not our own, when navigating trials and crisis. I focus on solutions rather than problems. My approach is very strength-based. I use play therapy with children 13 and under.
I hold two Masters degrees in counseling from two Christian Universities-- Hope International University and Azusa Pacific University.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I became a Christian therapist because when I searched the internet for Christian counselors that provided insight and growth in
Christ focuses, I found few to none. I wanted a mental health professional who would help me prioritize Christ and His Word in my life and in sessions. I was searching for such services for myself in times of loss and illness and for friends and family as well. No one fit the mark. So I became what I wanted to find in a Christian therapist.
