Mark Goins
Pastoral Counseling,Spiritual Director
Greetings, my name is Mark Goins.
I have spent my adult life serving and caring for others. My work as a pastor, counselor, mentor and adviser has uniquely equipped me to help others in different stations and through challenges of their life. Much of my early experience has been working with troubled youth, families in crisis, and pastoral care. I have worked in churches, camps, retreats, a residential treatment facility, and Christian schools.
In my latter years my focus has been in pre-marital counseling, pastoral counseling, marriage counseling, family counseling, discipleship and mentoring of men. I have also taught and lectured in many different environments.
I finished my course in spiritual direction in May of 2013 which included books on spiritual direction, papers, directing and being directed, and class conversations and lectures.
I also am proficient in the Enneagram also called the 9 types. It is an ancient personality test. I work with individuals, couples,
