About
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have been in practice since 1986 and have worked in the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System in psychiatry and substance abuse. Currently, I serve as Clinical Director in a Christian housing program, Bridges of New York. My private practice is based on Biblical principles and on sound professional practice experience. Individuals, couples and families in need of Christian counseling and therapy are invited to contact this therapist. I also work with people in need of trauma recovery, as well as those suffering from a variety of emotional/spiritual issues.
Why I Became a Christian Therapist
Jesus Christ is my Lord. I was called by God to this work, as He gave me a private practice that I did not seek. I am blessed and overjoyed to work alongside my brothers and sisters in Christ as I participate in what the Lord is doing! There is a deep place where secular therapy cannot go. It is where He lives in us that healing and freedom are accomplished through the power of the Holy Spirit. Prayer and counseling are integrated in my work with my clients, as the Lord brings about His will in their lives.
