About

How are you doing today?

Are you wondering when you might catch a break? Have you felt overwhelmed at the thought of trying more ways to help yourself feel better? Maybe you are grieving a loss, or there have been times where you felt disconnected, or caught in a cycle that doesn't seem to end. Maybe you have wondered if there is a higher calling for what you are meant to be, or do.

I help those seeking encouraging, warm and professional support through seasons of life that challenge the heart, mind and soul. Adolescents and adults struggling with finding effective coping skills, emotion regulation, and achieving sustainable change, will find a non judgmental approach to achieving goals during our work together.

With a specialization in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, trauma informed therapy and more, I am ready and available to help you reach your goals with a gentle, effective and sustainable approach.

The next step is only a phone call or email away. I look forward to meeting you,
-Wanda

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

Research points to the integral role that spirituality can have in the psychological well being of humans. As a returning practicing Catholic and seasoned psychotherapist I have come to appreciate how, for Christian and Christian-curious clients, the tried and true psychotherapeutic components of compassion, connection and validation; which are essential to working through emotional pain and making effective change during the process, align with Christianity and the ministry, mission and message of Jesus Christ. Within this space, clients develop a sense of purpose, direction, balance, and sustaining hope as they engage in the work to find peace in their lives.
