I believe that resilience lies within each of us. We often forget this powerful strength we have inside of us because of the challenges life confronts us with. My goal is to empower you to rediscover your resilience and collaboratively work to improve your overall well-being and quality of life.

I strive to create a safe, trusting, inclusive, and non-judgemental space where you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences with me. I am passionate about helping people from a holistic, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and person-centered framework. Focusing on the whole individual (mind, body, and soul), I take an integrative approach.

I am also a certified Prepare & Enrich Facilitator for pre-marital and marriage counselling. With these different approaches and trainings, I support clients as they learn to develop healthy relationships and effective coping skills that can help them live a more meaningful life. I meet clients where they are at and help them move along th

I am a Registered Social Worker and supporting people through life’s ups and downs is my passion. I received my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Renison University College attached to UWaterloo, and I also have my Masters of Social Work from the University of Toronto. I specialize in working with children and families, emphasizing the importance of child development, as well as family system interventions. Coming from a clinical background of working with families in the foster care system and government-funded programs, I know that families can look like everything and anything!

I believe therapy shouldn’t use a cookie-cutter approach – one size definitely does not fit all when it comes to your emotional and mental well-being. We are all so different and we all need a listening ear sometimes, and a little extra support other times.

I am the kind of social worker that wants to work with you to develop emotional regulation skills, coping strategies, and stress-management metho
