About
My education history includes a Masters in Science of Counseling from Southern Methodist University, a Juris Doctorate from University of Mississippi School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from Mississippi State University. I am currently licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate in Texas, and I am licensed as an attorney in the states of Texas, Tennessee, and Mississippi.
Life’s demands—whether from roles, relationships, or unexpected events—can push us past our limits, leaving us feeling broken, isolated, numb, emotionally drained, and stuck. Shame, sadness, and disillusionment can creep in, silencing our true desires, leading us to overextend ourselves, or even turn to unhealthy coping mechanisms for relief. You may find yourself wondering, “How can I regain hope, peace, and freedom when life feels this overwhelming?” Taking the step to seek counseling is an act of courage and self-care.
As a dedicated counselor, I provide compassionate, non-judgmental support to help you navigate life’s challenges and rediscover hope, meaning, and freedom. In a safe, supportive space, we can work together to understand your feelings, uncover the roots of your struggles, and build healthy coping strategies that empower you to move forward. I work with clients facing a variety of challenges, including professional or personal burnout, maladaptive behaviors, relationship issues, addiction, ADHD, grief, parenting challenges, workplace stress, and trauma.
With my unique background as a former litigation attorney turned therapist, I am particularly equipped to support professionals in high-stress fields such as law, medicine, clergy, and executive leadership. I understand firsthand the complex balance between personal and professional pressures and offer tailored guidance that resonates with those navigating demanding careers.
If you’re ready to take the first step toward healing and rediscovery, I’m here to help you with insight and compassion. Let’s create a personalized path that leads to renewed hope, peace, and lasting freedom.
