About
MSW, U. of CT. School of Social Work in 1997; M.Div., Yale Univ. Divinity School in 1987, LICSW (MA. state clinical license).
My clinical practice style is eclectic but my foundation is strengths based and psychodynamic. I work with adolescent and adult clients in individual, couples, and family sessions. I believe that Jesus guides me in all my clinical work with clients. The amount of religious or spiritual language and concepts employed by me is dependent on clinical need and client comfort. This will vary from session to session if doing so is appropriate.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
It is a blessing to serve God and people at the same time. That is what I'm able to do as a therapist. I'm privileged to hear people's stories, especially during times of hurt, struggles, or obstacles. Helping others get to a point of greater wholeness gives me great joy.
