Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I primarily became a pastoral counselor because I went through my own mental health struggles. I experienced depression, anxiety, and PTSD, and was even suicidal. All of this was a result of the trauma I experienced during my teen years as I battled an undiagnosed bleeding disorder. God delivered me from my mental health hardships and placed a desire in my heart to help those who are hurting. Overtime God led me down the counseling path. I desire to not just counsel, but to disciple and mentor those who are in my care. I also desire to help pastors and church leaders and be a person they can go to when they are struggling.
