About
I specialize in relationship counseling. I provide therapy for those looking to improve their relationships, to better understand their own reactions in relationship(s), to deal with grief or loss, or to manage anxiety. I have a Master's degree in Theological Studies from the Anderson University School of Theology and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Christian Theological Seminary. I am humbled and blessed to be trusted by individuals and couples to work with them through hurt, fear, sadness or loneliness. I have coauthored a book with Dr. Ed Mitchell, "A Short Course In Marriage." (www.ashortcourseinmarriage.com) The book speaks to God's help as couples maneuver through the stages of marriage. We provide presentations and workshops. In my private practice, I do therapy with individuals, couples and families.
I do not process Insurance. All my clients are self-pay.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I worked 15 years as an electrical engineer. I felt God calling me to do something different. I thought maybe I was being called to ministry, so I was working my way through a Master of Divinity degree when I took my first counseling class. It was then I realized what I was being called to. I was fascinated with why we act and react to others as we do. It felt as if I could not learn fast enough, and I have never stopped my love for continued education. I feel very blessed to have been able to experience two careers I have enjoyed.
