About
I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor for the State of Florida as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. I received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I worked at SMA Healthcare as a mental health counselor as well as the Betty Griffin Domestic Violence Center in St. Augustine, where I specialized in domestic violence and trauma counseling and therapy.
As a therapist I will listen and work compassionately with women to develop a customized plan for therapy that will meet the needs of each individual. My therapy includes good, safe, mental health practices that will encourage women to live a better and more fulfilling life. Growing up in Miami, Florida where people from all over the world come to live, prepared me to become culturally sensitive and learn the Spanish language. My studies and plan to become a therapist were put on hold due to a cancer diagnosis and life's circumstances. Years later God gave me the opportunity to continue my studies and complete my program with honors.
My goal is to give women hope to realize their full potential even when unexpected life events happen. I tell you this to let you know that sometimes life does not go as we plan, but I would like to remind you that the rest of your story is unwritten still.
