David Beirne
MA, LCPC
David’s counseling philosophy is founded on one pivotal word: Growth. He is inspired to help clients see real growth over time, yet discerns that this growth doesn’t come out of human effort—there are divine appointments along the way. As a Christian, he believes he does not counsel alone, and that each session is an opportunity for God to bring healing and help into the life of another. David often works with individuals who have a significant hardship they want to understand (including a traumatic experience), depression, anxiety, executive functioning, as well as academic issues—such as going back to college or a second career. David earned his Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL and also holds a Master’s in Biblical and Theological Studies from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. David is an EMDR Certified Therapist.
