Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
Having spent 10 years teaching and counseling in a private Christian school, the next step was to obtain a more formal counseling education and start a faith-based practice utilizing biblical truth and the best of secular theory.
During the past 16 years, my counseling has focused on premarital, marriage & family, sexual addiction, intimacy issues, anxiety/depression as well as post- operative trauma and more recently Covid-19 anxiety - working with young adults to senior citizens. Also sub-specialty in adoption/attachment-related issues. I provide daytime and evening appointments, also phone consultations during this time of social distancing. Reasonable rates and a sliding scale payment schedule.
