About

I have over 20 years of experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with complex trauma, substance abuse and other mental health disorders. I am passionate about providing counseling and guidance to individuals suffering from the pressures of life that can weigh down even the strongest of people. I have come to deeply value the many benefits of the counseling and therapeutic relationship.

My approach is grounded in person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapies; one of collaboration, safety and professional excellence. I offer a faith-based perspective (i.e, Christian) for those seeking to incorporate their faith into our sessions. Although I practice from a Christian worldview, I do not limit my clientele to the Christian community. I am open to working with men and women from all backgrounds of faith and non-faith.

My areas of focus include but are not limited to, complex trauma, depression, anxiety, alcohol/drug and other process addictions, relationship issues, life transitions/adjustments, interpersonal concerns, and faith based counseling. I come alongside each client with effective listening, empathy, compassion and genuineness. My goal is to provide each of my clients with a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space that allows transparency for healing and growth in mind, body and spirit.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

My goal is to serve the Lord in all I do. He has given me a desire to help others find healing, hope, and transformation through faith in Christ and therapy. I integrate biblical truth with clinical wisdom to support lasting change.
