Bible based life coaching and counseling are provided as part of an active outreach effort. W. Bruce Evans, who holds advanced degrees in Nouthetic Psychology is the minister for the Winnetka Avenue Church of Christ and works to be of service to those who have a need. In addition to being a minister for well over thirty-five years, he has taught at the college level, maintained a counseling practice in the state of Washington and in the past volunteered to help in disaster situations (Hurricane Katrina; aftermath of riots in Los Angeles, Northridge earthquake)
