I am a retired medical doctor and psychiatrist who became ill while practicing as I was trained. I prayed to find gentler and more effective treatments that might heal the psychological body or soul as well as the physical body. The result was what I now call "Soul Gardening." I currently have a ministry license, and I help clients to hear their souls speaking through their symptoms and disease processes, relationship difficulties, or any life challenges. Our souls are guiding us to grow through whatever is going on in our lives. To maximize this growth, we must learn the language of the soul and be listening to its daily instructions. My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice
I grew up in a violent home and community which caused me to become increasingly depressed as a teenager. My big sister of my sorority in college was a born-again believer, and she talked to me about God. At nineteen, I began to pray, asking God, "If you really exist, will you let me know in some way?" The most beautiful, loving presence I had even known came upon me to let me know that He is Alive and Well, and it was time to turn my life over to Him. This daily turning my decisions over to Him has taught me that He is Our Life. Knowing this and living this, not only restores our health, but our lives flourish!
