The William Floyd Center is a ministry of Park Valley Church that specializes in both professional counseling and certified coaching and mentoring for adults, children, families and couples. We offer a wide range of services, that includes: professional licensed counselors who charge for their services and trained and certified volunteer mentors and pastoral counseling that is free.
As a Christ-based center, all counseling is true to our faith and the teachings of the Word, that God has revealed to us, and what we can know about Him through a personal relationship with Jesus.
Three of our counselors are LPCs with years of experience. Two are under supervision, soon to be LCSW. Our Clinical Supervisors are an LPC and a LCSW. There are two Certified Life Coaches on site and our Pastoral Director is an Ordained Pastor and a BCPC and BCMHC.
We do not accept insurance for those counselors who charge a fee.
My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice
All of us here at the William Floyd Counseling Center are believers in Jesus Christ. We are here to serve. If you will allow us, we will add biblical and scriptural truths to your therapy and help you realize that God is a real help in times of trouble.
As a Pastor, I am blessed to lead this ministry. Everyday I see God's hand on our clients and our staff. While not all of our prayers are answered the way we might prefer, I do know that God's plan for all of us is good and however He answers prayer will make sense on day. God is good.
