About

Wings of the Future is dedicated to supporting the healing and transformation of marginalized families impacted by trauma. Our mission is to help families break free from patterns of dysfunction and move toward becoming resilient, healthy, and functional systems.

We accomplish this through trauma-informed psychoeducation that highlights the deep interconnection between attachment trauma, domestic violence, addiction, mental health, and unhealthy relational dynamics.

Our services include culturally responsive parenting programs, individual and group psychotherapy, couples and family therapy, trauma recovery groups, and community-based workshops and consultations.

Many of the families we serve are involved in the legal system, including the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), Family Court, Probation, or are participating in court-ordered treatment. Through our work, we aim to empower families with the tools, insight, and support necessary to rebuild their lives and thrive—together.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

Becoming a Christian therapist wasn’t just a career decision—it was a calling rooted in my own healing journey.

As someone who has walked through the pain of trauma, loss, and emotional survival, I know what it feels like to search for answers in places that only offer temporary relief. For a long time, I relied solely on psychology, coping skills, and sheer strength to get by. But it wasn’t until I invited God into the healing process that I began to experience real transformation.

Faith didn’t replace the science.
It deepened the process.
It gave my pain purpose and my healing power.

I became a Christian therapist because I believe healing is both clinical and spiritual. Because people aren’t just dealing with mental health challenges—they’re carrying soul wounds. And in the therapy room, I get to create a sacred space where clinical excellence meets biblical truth, and where clients can reconnect with their identity, value, and God-given purpose.

My goal is never to push faith, but to offer it as a gentle, guiding light for those who desire it. To hold space for both the psychological and the spiritual. And to walk alongside others as they learn that healing is not only possible—it’s promised.

That’s why I do what I do.
